I'll try to manually map joystick buttons, next. I then tried to load a general joystick profile, and now everything back to normal, I can move my cursor in the main menu using keyboard, up/down. if I chagne the mode to red, it will instantly move the cursor to the bottom of the menu and stay there so instead of I can't move it down using down key, now I can't move it up using up key.I know I've been painfully detailed. When I were testing, it seems that both wheels on throttle doesn't do any thing, the Mode selector (the one a the top left corner of the stick, has 3 positions, if you rotate it will change the color of a light, green, orange, red) on the stick does. If I load the profile but used it on a X52 (not pro), it will cause the problem I described earlier - it will make you impossible to continue to do anything in the main menu section, unless you unplug x52 (not pro). I can see my x52 recognized using Logitech driver.Īnd, the embedded x52 profile is for x52 Pro. If you can't get your x52 recognized, try Logitech driver. I have something specific for the modes :3 (green) landing, 2 (amber) flight, 1 (red) combat, it simply sets some defaults for landing gear, power balance, hardpoints. I do this for the basics like pitch yaw roll, and anywhere else where I want a single key press action. many bindings should be left to the in-game system, while some must be done with the external software. You go into the game and into the mappings, then set your buttons there. OK, I think I've got some insights into this problem. The two software - x52 profiler & ED - work together.
